New Era
After Sundays shocking news came to the surface, the fans and players of Darlington RA Juniours would like to put forward the name of "Monk" and "Boyd" for the role as manager, although Olly Chapman has also expressed an intrest in revitalising his managerial career, which has recently gone down hill.
Monk Evs
Boyd 2/1
David Bogg 5/2 (Speculation is rife around QE)
Chapman 11/1
Bearsy 33/1
Dave Sanderson 50/1
Dave Scott 100/1
Jose Mourinho 1000/1

Re: New Era
if i was a betting man i would be inclined to place a reasonable wager on the current favourite "monk for manager" although i hear he is drifting in price due to the speculation tht tapping up may occur on several names who are not willing to be named as of yet.
Alternatively i have requested a price to be quoted for a players consortium to assume responsibility for the remainder of the current campaign.

Re: New Era
I am declining any interest in the job at Brinkburn Road, after much consideration, I am flattered with the speculation but I do not feel the time is right at this stage in my career and will be cutting my teeth lower down the Teeside League scale.
Market Movers:
Monk & Boyd Coalition 4/6
Olly Chapman 20/1
Bearsy 25/1
N.B Others on request.

Speculation
After his recent spell at the mighty Darlington FC, i would have to say David Bogg would be a fantastic signing for the club. His experience would be extremely beneficial to the RA cause.
But, Monk & Mr John Boyd as the new management team sounds like a good proposition to me. From whoever it was
In all seriousness, Monk, Boyd & of course Mr Rob Poynter would do a good job until the end of the season i am sure.

Current Managerial Position DRAU18's
Dear Darlington RA Under 18's board of directors,
I would like to apply for the vacant managerial position at the football club. I have a wealth of managerial accomplishments as i have won the Premier League 3 times in a row, the champions league, the league cup twice on football manager 08 with newcastle united in 5 years (this is an achievement as you can see how bad they are!!). I can also attract the likes of Kaka who is my current captain and am willing to drop down to the teeside league to take over the lads!
Please reply and all lads who wud like to see Hindle at the helm leave a comment.
RA cup champions howay the lads :D:D

Re: New Era
Congratulations Mr. Hindle as the only applicant you will be offered the post, get my number of any of the above and ring me to arrange to pick-up the following required to fulfill your duties:- Strips (home and away) you will have to wash them aswell
Match Balls
Ladder to retrive the above from neighbours gardens, because no one else will
Training Balls for away games
Cones (for pre match warm up)
Corner flags
Nets and pegs (you will probably have to put them up yourself and take them down)
First Aid Kit ( fully equipped with dummies and rattles)
Drinks bottles (you will have to make the drinks and then pick up the bottles when the prima donnas throw them on the floor)
Registration Cards ( to be exchanged with the opposition manager before every game)
Match Sheets (must be returned by Tuesday after the match)
Contact numbers for opposition, to ring and confirm fixture and directions.
Contact numbers for referee's again to contact to confirm fixture and directions. (Generally both the above will have to be rang several times)
Full agenda of meetings to attend.
Child protection course to attend
Welfare officer course to attend
First aid course to attend.
F.A. coaching course to pass ( sorrry you probably have this with your experience)
Accounts ( players currently not paying subs because they cant be arsed)
I am sure i have forgotten several items but you can contact me in the lounge of the club on any Sunday afternoon not wasting time.
Another thing you will also have to be is a qualified referee, so when the appointed referee lets you down and the only chance of playing is for you do it, this also gives the people that you have given up your spare time too the opportunity to abuse you, sulk and moan constantly at every thing that you do.
Please be in touch sooner rather than later.
